All multi-omics datasets within this database originate from eight well-characterized individuals with fully traceable backgrounds. In addition to genetic variation data obtained from high-depth whole-genome re-sequencing, we have compiled comprehensive phenotypic records, breeding information, and photographs collected from the breeding facility.
While the limited number of samples may not provide strong statistical power for certain analyses, these meticulous individual records remind us that each dataset corresponds to a unique, valuable life that contributed to advancing scientific research, rather than merely an anonymous sample ID or a cold data entry in the database.
